Succeeding In Spite Of Yourself?

Sometimes we completely miss the mark and other times we succeed in spite of all the ways that we set up barriers internally to prevent ourselves from actually enjoying the thrill of victory and the triumph of taking all our skills and abilities and directing them in service.

There are so many ways that we can sabotage our own vision.   But like anything in nature - we must eventually accept that we are who we are and that the gifts that we carry are of value and a contribution to the larger fabric of our world.

I've been learning this and working with my clients recently to support them to become both more aware AND more appreciative of the gifts that they carry. 

One of the biggest ways we sabotage our life or business is by engaging in the act of ENVY.   I believe that ENVY (not money!) is the ROOT of all Evil and have found that it's the place where our energy and life force is most easily hijacked by marketers and magicians who dabble or directly intend to target this emotion and trigger buying of a whole lot of things we don't actually need, want or have real resonance for.

Let's be clear - I don't want to be anyone's TARGET nor do I want to make anyone mine.   I have, however, come to understand the power in communicating clearly to those who are meant to be served by me and I very intentionally activate the "Law of Resonance" when I am sending out my "arrows of communication" that I do desire will "hit the mark".  

Sometimes we are meant to go solo in our journey but more often then not we are meant to be surrounded and supported by our allies, teachers, mentors and cheerleaders.  How will you know when you have found that "right fit"/"resonant" match?  

First let’s look at why you’d be looking in the first place….

Recently I saw a video on Facebook that inspired the crap out of me. It was of a guy named James Jean who is both a videographer and an expert at “instinctive” archery. The video had been paired with an incredible piece of music called Soul Changing by the singer Maya Isac. Between his immense skill and her immensely gifted voice and inspiring lyrics I was mesmerized! So much so that an ancient part of me was awakened to explore shooting archery. I have not shot archery since I was about 12 years old during summer camp in the girl scouts. I obviously needed both the tools as well as the expert guidance of a master in addition to a place to play in order to fulfill the VERY LOUD desire that was now at play in my body, mind and spirit.

I went “on the hunt”. Thankfully because my intentions were clear and pure - the universe pretty instantly delivered. Out of the choices offered - there was only one that was my clear choice. The guy who named his business “The Art Of Archery”. Sometimes it’s a simple as that. The “vibration and signature” of the NAME of your business or your offer can be enough to trigger an “instant knowing” in the person who is on the hunt for what you have to offer.

Do you know what your “hunters” are seeking? Do you feel like the name you have selected for your business/offers/talk/show is strumming their bowstrings (heartstrings)? Are you succeeding in spite of yourself? Or are you stuck in the cycle of sabotage?

I have done both. I spent years and loads of fun funds working with people who were convinced (and who convinced me) that if I put a whole bunch of nuts and bolts together behind the scenes in my business then everything would “work”. But the truth is that’s never been the case for me and has been in fact a drag on my flow and on the fun funds in my financial accounts. What I have come to finally understand is that “My people” come to work with me not because of some fancy funnel, or because I have optimized my SEO or because I have employed the PLF model step by painstaking step, or because I have run 10 gazillion A/B Tests. I have succeeded in spite of myself because I’ve been (sometimes unconsciously!) emanating a vibrational signature that is naturally attractive to those who are a unique match for my magic. I call these people my Perfect Prospects who convert to become my Divine Clients.
